GlittHair™ is tinsel strands that come in various colors, usually glittery, shiny, and reflective chromes. They get attached to your natural hair or wig the same way as hair extensions.
There are many ways to install GlittHair™.
1. Tie a knot at hair root to secure a single tinsel strand on your natural hair.
2. Braid or twist into hair extensions or natural hair.
3. Install using GlittHair™ Pro Tools.
4. Tape Method
Use our GlittHair™ Pro Tools Collection which includes: Loop Bead Tool, Hair Pliers, Latch Hook Crochet Needle, Hair Parter Ring, and MicroBeads.
Slip-Knot Method: If this is how your tinsel hair was installed, you should easily slide it our of your natural hair. Hold your natural hair from the root to avoid unnecessary tugging and hair fall.
Bead/Ring Method: Use the Glitt Hair™ Pro Hair Pliers to break the bead/ring open and slide it out of your natural hair.
Tape Method: Locate proper instructions from the tape-in brand used as we do not supply this method.
GlittHair™ tinsel is heat-safe and heat-resistant! It can be styled with heat up to 300º. Do a heat strand test on a small area starting at 250º prior to full heat application.

It depends on how you install the tinsel and how often you touch your hair. The most secured way of installing is using the beads or rings to place the tinsel to your hair strands. They normally last for 1-3 weeks.
Slip knots only last for a few days. About 3-5 days with regular or daily washing.
Gently shampoo and detangle your hair to avoid pulling hair tinsels from your natural hair strands. If your daily activities allow you to not shampoo daily while you have tinsels, do so.
